Following the success of Topicals, founder Olamide Olowe launched a holding company, Cost of Doing Business, marking an important next step in her growth as a founder and investor. Through this new platform, she completed her first acquisition: Bread Beauty Supply.

We led the communications strategy for the announcement, focusing on a story that felt both personal and purposeful. Highlighting what it means for Black founders to support one another, and the importance of protecting brand identity and product integrity after acquisition, ensuring Bread Beauty Supply would continue on without being altered.

The launch was anchored by an exclusive with Essence, supported by a broader earned media push across beauty, business, lifestyle, and multicultural outlets to expand the story’s reach and cultural impact.
